AURELIEN LIVEMONT (BEL) AWARDED WITH EFPM “DIPLOMA OF RECOGNITION" 2024

In the match between Merbesars B and Thuin B, the captain of Thuin B, Aurélien Livémont, tried to control the ball to avoid the defender who was pushing him, but the ball bounced off his hand... The referee decided to award a penalty for the alleged handball of the Merbesars player. However, the Thudinian, aware that the decision was unfair, made a gesture of fair play. Instead of awarding the penalty, as he would have done, Aurélien kicked the ball into the side of the goal. This extraordinary gesture of fair play did not go unnoticed. The Merbesars fans, delegates and coaches paid tribute to Aurélien for his behaviour on the pitch.
