Aysel Sultanova (AZE) awarded with THE EFPM “VOX” AWARD 2024 UNDER THE AUSPICES OF THE AIPS EUROPE

Aysel Sultanova is one of the most prominent sports journalists in Azerbaijan.  She has worked for many years in national and international sport in a variety of roles.

She was the editor of the sports magazine "To the Olympics". She has worked as a sports journalist for the Olympic World newspaper of the National Olympic Committee of Azerbaijan for 15 years. Aysel Sultanova was awarded the title of "Best Sports Journalist of the Year" by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan in 2013. She has published a number of articles promoting the Fair Play movement.

She organised drawing competitions on the spirit of Fair Play and sport and seminars on Fair Play with the participation of various sports clubs and media representatives. She was recognised for her efforts in promoting the Congresses and Assemblies of the European and World Fair Play Movement held in Azerbaijan. Last year, she was awarded the title of "Propagator of Fair Play Principles" by the Fair Play Commission of the National Olympic Committee of Azerbaijan. She is the editor of the book Fair Play in Azerbaijan: 20 Years, which details the 20-year history of the AzFPC. She has played an active role in promoting close cooperation between the AzFPC and European and international Fair Play organisations.
