Eric Charette (BEL) AWARDED WITH EFPM “SPIRIT OF FAIR PLAY” AWARD 2023

The cyclist from Spa intends to complete the Everest Challenge in the mythical French pass. In this context, he is appealing for donations for the disaster victims of the terrible floods that hit Belgium in the summer of 2021. The cyclist is not only skillful with his legs: he also has a big heart. Touched by the dramatic situation in which many of the region's citizens find themselves following the floods, Éric Charette has decided to help them in his own way: he is collecting funds for the Belgian Red Cross, which is at the forefront of support for the victims of the floods.

“If I can collect a little money for the victims, so that their families, friends, and neighbors can smile again in the terrible ordeal that they are  going through..." said the cyclist, whose heart is in the right place.
