Giliana Gilly Flore (ITA) AWARDED WITH the EFPM “FAIR PLAY FLAME” DIPLOMA 2024

On 29 November 2024, the National Fair Play Commission of San Marino (CNSFP) installed two more RED BENCHES as a symbol of rejection of violence against women and as a tangible and permanent sign of remembrance. The red benches attract attention and give everyone the opportunity to stop and reflect. The two RED BENCHES are placed in the Castello di Acquaviva and in the Piazza di Gualdicciolo.

On this occasion, the President of the CNSFP, Gian Battista Silvagni, presented Giliana Gilly Flore with the "EFPM FAIR PLAY FLAME DIPLOMA 2024", awarded by the European Fair Play Movement, in an emotional and highly appreciated ceremony.

GILIANA FIORE was born on 16 April 1996 in France with Down's Syndrome and returned to Italy when she was two years old, her parents chose a rare name: Giliana. Everyone in the family calls her Gilly and this became her stage name. Magical Gilly has been performing magic shows since she was 13, a passion she inherited from her father, who was also a magician. She has performed in Italy, Spain, France and San Marino, sharing the stage with the biggest names in magic. On stage and on television, Gilly "loses all her embarrassment and shyness: she is not afraid of anything and is not upset by the unexpected", her father confides. With great dexterity, Gilly manipulates rings, ropes and magic boxes, from which rabbits and pigeons emerge, accompanied by background music. Her extraordinary skills are the result of daily training at home under Gabriel's constant supervision. And in 2018, in Tagliacozzo (L'Aquila), she received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the International Magic University.

With her hard work and perseverance, Gilly is a role model for us all.
