THE EUROPEAN FAIR PLAY PLAQUE OF MERIT AND DIPLOMA 2024 UNDER THE AUSPICES OF THE EUROPEAN OLYMPIC COMMITTEES presented to CROATIAN SCHOOL SPORT FEDERATION & “PLAY, WRITE, LIKE” project

The "Play, Write, Like" project is an educational media literacy project launched by the Croatian School Sports Federatio (CSSF), which brings together young sports journalists and forms media teams to cover more than 30 national school sports championships. They encourage young athletes to put Fair Play at the forefront of all their endeavours, not just at school sports championships. With the help of the technical committees of each school sport, they find and document inspiring stories and moments of Fair Play during the national championships. Through the "Fair Play Cards" project, implemented in cooperation with the Croatian Fair Play Commission, more than 25 Fair Play cards with mini-interviews are published every year.

Through various platforms such as the CSSF website, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, they reach a wide range of students, parents, teachers and sports fans.

The contribution of the CSSF school sport journalists goes beyond national borders as they share their stories and experiences with an international audience, helping to promote the principles of the CSSF to a wider audience. Students take part in the World School Sport Championships around the world and report on the Fair Play Card project and several CSSF activities in Croatia. Their work resonates with young sportspeople across Europe and promotes a sense of unity and shared values within the international sporting community.
