Turkish Sports Journalists Association awarded with THE EFPM “VOX” AWARD 2024 UNDER THE AUSPICES OF THE AIPS EUROPE for an organization

TSYD (Turkish Sports Journalists Association) was founded on 14 April 1963 and is affiliated to AIPS (International Sports Press Association). It is a sports press organization that includes Turkey's leading sports journalists, photojournalists, broadcasters, web writers and cameramen. It has 11 branches all over Turkey, 2001 members and 81 representatives.  TSYD's guiding principle is to create a sports press in the spirit of Fair Play. It organizes seminars, workshops, trainings and award ceremonies. It also provides financial assistance to its members who are unemployed and pays the bills of its members who are hospitalized. It also provides nursing homes in the branches. It also provides summer holidays for its members. The Turkish Olympic Committee cooperates with the Fair Play Council and is the sponsor of the Fair Play World Photography Competition, now in its third year this year.
