EFPM President Philippe Housiaux is on an Inspection visit to Rome
EFPM President Philippe Housiaux is on an Inspection visit to Rome on August 5 and 6 to prepare for the award ceremony and the EFPM conference to be held on November 3 and 4 in the Italian capital . Together with the President of the Italian Fair Play Commission, Ruggero Alcanterini, they met on Friday 5, the President of the Roman Assembly, Svetlana Celli. The delegation was made up of Rossana Ciuffetti, director of the headquarters of the European Olympic Committees (EOC) and Renato Di Rocco, of the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), honorary vice-president. The award ceremony will take place on November 3, at the headquarters of the Italian Olympic Committee (CONI), for the first time an award for fair play and peace will be presented. The Conference takes place on November 4 at the City Hall of Rome. Two themes will be developed. The first being gender equality in sport from the perspective of Fair-Play and Fair-Play as a value for an ethical transition of European values. Philippe Housiaux and Ruggero Alcanterini also met Professor Laura Capranica from the University of Foro Italico and president of the European Athlete as a Student (EAS) network.
