THE EFPM AWARD JURY HAS GIVEN ITS DECISION

The EFPM Award Jury has decided to award several personalities, organizations, campaigns for this year. The jury voted in this composition: Danira Bilic (CRO), Raymonds Bergamis (LAT), Alena Kanova (SVK), Rinaldo Orland (ITA), Ryszard Stadniuk (POL) under the leadership of Katarina Raczova (SVK). It was a very difficult decision, because the EFPM received a lot of proposals and all proposals are worthy of praise. Therefore, the jury recommends to the EFPM ExCom to give “Diplomas of Recognition” to all the candidates for the FP Awards, as a recognition of their actions.

The European Fair Play Plaque of Merit and Diploma made under the auspices of the European Olympic Committees goes to:

• Radu Fruntes (ROU) - for numerous initiatives for the preservation of ethical values in sports and for the promotion of the Fair Play ideals
• Club Anneessens 25 (BEL) - for the development of solidarity actions

The European Fair Play Diploma

made under the auspices of the European Olympic Committees goes to

• Athanasios Prodromou (GRE) - for exemplary behavior inspired by the values of humanism and Fair Play
• Mamanet Austria (AUT) - for extraordinary achievements and activities

The EFPM “Fair Play Special” Award goes to

• Jonas Vingegaard (DEN) - for a remarkable gesture of Fair Play and team spirit

The EFPM “Fair Play Vox” Award made under the auspices of AIPS Europe

goes to

• Sportska televizija - Sport TV (CRO) - for promotion of ethical values and the Fair Play ideals in sports and everyday life

The EFPM “Spirit of Fair Play” Awards go to:

• Eunice Mortágua (POR) – for act of humanism, responsibility, and Fair Play
• Azerbaijan Badminton Federation (AZE) - for initiatives for the preservation of ethical values and Fair Play ideals
• Ismet Karababa (TUR) - for promotion of the importance of the ethics in sports
• Janis Kaupe (LAT) - for promotion of the importance of the ethics in sports

The EFPM “Fair Play Flame” Award (to an athlete or a team under 18) goes to:

• Aleks Švelc (SLO) - for a remarkable gesture of Fair Play
